ARMA’s Mentoring Scheme facilitates one-to-one relationships allowing members to share their skills and knowledge with colleagues who would like mentoring to help support them in their career.
Mentoring provides an opportunity to ask questions, share new ideas and develop knowledge and understanding in a dedicated, supportive environment. A mentoring relationship is based upon encouragement, challenge, openness, mutual trust, respect and a willingness to share knowledge and learn, and almost any aspect of professional practice can be mentored.
Mentors directly support colleagues in developing their skills and knowledge, whilst benefiting from fresh insights into their profession. Equally, mentees benefit from the wealth of experience the mentors bring to the scheme, helping them build the knowledge necessary to develop their career paths.
The scheme is closed for 2016. Details of the 2017 scheme will be advertised in the new year.
