Exploring Similarities: national and international research management and administration

The 2008 ARMA Annual Conference incorporates the second biennial congress of the International Network of Research Management Societies, and will provide an opportunity for research administrators from all over the world to explore the similarities in our roles and activities, and identify the essential aspects of research management that cross national boundaries. The conference includes a wide range of parallel working sessions with topics of interest to everyone working in research administration, from those new to the professions to the most experienced managers. The Congress takes place over five days, including the main two-day Conference and three days of pre- and post-conference seminars and workshops.

The Congress includes a poster session designed to give Research Managers and Administrators an opportunity to present their ideas to a large and diverse international audience. Members are invited to submit a poster proposal and enter the poster competition.

We are grateful for sponsorship from our silver sponsors, Agresso and Evidence & Symplectic, and for the support of our Press Partner, Research Research. You can meet them and other companies at the Congress Exhibition, from Monday 16th - Wednesday 18th June.

The Congress has its own comprehensive website at www.inorms2008.org, and many of the links below are to that website and will open in a new tab or window. Bookings are being taken via the ARMA website (i.e. this one!).
