ARMA Board of Directors
ARMA is coordinated on a day-to-day basis by a Board of Directors of a Chair, two Deputy Chairs, Treasurer and Secretary and twelve other elected directors. Descriptions of their roles are available for information.
Members of the Board are elected by postal ballot for a three year term of office, with elections announced in January each year. Any ARMA member who is interested in standing for election, or putting themselves forward for possible co-option to the Board is welcome to contact the Chair to discuss this.
There are three committees, one overseeing training activities, one with oversight of broader services to members, and one charged with organising the Annual Conference. Additional Working Groups are set up to consider specific issues, as and when required. We also have a number of "Active Members" who currently support the Board in various ways, e.g. helping at the conference, presenting at ARMA training events, organising training venues at their institutions, helping to run courses, web editing. If you would be interested in being involved in this way, please do contact us.
